Many of the people who benefit most from acupuncture are the ones who find it hardest to reach a clinic. A journey across the city can undo the good of a session for someone with severe back pain, and for a patient recovering from a stroke it may not be possible at all.
Divya Sparsh Acupuncture offers home visits so that these patients can be treated in their own bed or chair, with family nearby.
Who home visits are for
- Elderly patients who cannot travel comfortably
- People recovering from a stroke or living with paralysis
- People with Parkinson’s disease
- Patients with severe back pain, sciatica or knee pain
- Patients recovering at home after a hospital stay, once their doctor agrees
How to arrange a visit
- Call or WhatsApp. Describe the patient’s condition and share your address.
- Share reports. Photos of recent reports and prescriptions on WhatsApp help the practitioner prepare.
- Agree a time. A convenient time is fixed with you by phone.
- First visit. The practitioner assesses the patient, explains what treatment can realistically offer, and begins.
Conditions commonly treated at home
Home treatment is given alongside the patient’s medical care and physiotherapy, not in place of it.
Questions about home visits
Which areas do you visit?
Home visits are offered in Navi Mumbai. Call or WhatsApp with your address and you will be told whether a visit can be arranged.
What do I need to arrange at home?
A bed or a firm, comfortable chair in a quiet room is enough. Please keep the patient’s medical reports and list of medicines ready.
Can a family member stay during treatment?
Yes, and it is encouraged. Family members can be shown simple acupressure points to continue between visits.
Is home treatment the same as at the clinic?
Yes. The same assessment and the same therapies, acupuncture, acupressure and sujok, are given at home.
