Common questions
Is acupuncture safe?
When given by a trained, registered practitioner, acupuncture is considered a safe therapy. Side effects are usually minor, such as slight soreness or a small bruise at a point. Tell the practitioner about your medical conditions and medicines before treatment.
Does acupuncture hurt?
Acupuncture needles are very fine. Most people feel a small prick followed by a dull, warm or heavy sensation. If you prefer no needles, acupressure and sujok can be used instead.
Do you offer home visits?
Yes. Home visits are available for patients who cannot travel easily, such as elderly patients and people with paralysis, Parkinson’s disease or severe pain. Call or WhatsApp to arrange one.
Do I need to stop my regular medicines?
No. Treatment here is given alongside your doctor’s care. Never stop or change a prescribed medicine without your doctor’s advice.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the condition and how long you have had it. After the first assessment you will be told honestly what to expect.
